I have always been interested in learning the craft of silversmithing and jewelry design but my life didn’t turn in that direction until much later.
Luckily for me there was an opportunity to enroll in a jewelry class at Sanctuary Arts in Eliot, Maine. A magical place with an absolutely wonderful teacher with a vast knowledge and education in this craft.
I grew up on the beach collecting stones and seaglass. In my travels I have collected many bits and pieces of the earth’s elemental beauty primarily from the shores that give up such inspiring treasures.
The shapes spark ideas in me. Some of my designs showcase these wonderful finds and I have also been commissioned to create jewelry around something that is meaningful to a client. I have been creating jewelry for years now with the support of the creative and talented artisans I have met since I began. I am also encouraged by friends, family and customers who recommend my work by buying, wearing and sharing the jewelry I create.
You’ll find me working in my converted trailer studio right off the beach in Biddeford Pool, Maine. I invite you to contact me and stop in if you’re in the area. Reach me at 603-828-3503.
